1976 Gibson Les Paul Recording WHITE!

Here is a super clean 1976 Gibson Les Paul Recording with the rare dual output jacks in the desirable Alpine White finish. This is a winner in every aspect. All original, one owner, rare color, rare variation, super clean! The guitar features the two output jacks (one for hi-impedance, one for lo-impedance). This is a nice design improvement over the other LP Recordings because the jacks are off the pickguard and not at risk of damaging. The guitar is in excellent condition overall with just a few marks/slight indentations as shown. The guitar comes with the original Protector chainsaw hardshell case as shown.

"Around 1976, the control layout of the Les Paul Recording changed. It was somewhat tidier with the four control pots in a row, and with the hi/lo impedance switch removed in favour of two separate output jacks, one for high, one for low impedance - and both situated on the guitar edge rather than mounted into the front of the guitar on the control plate. What's more, the pickup selector switch was moved from the control plate to the top edge of the guitar's body - the typical location of this switch in other Les Paul models. The 1978 control description flyer details the later period Recording guitar controls. Note that although functionally identical, the tone switch positions are numbered in reverse order to the previous version." quoted information courtesy of vintageguitarandbass.com.
