1957 Gretsch Country Club Cadillac Green!
This is a 1950's Gretsch Country Club in player's condition. Check out the old photos of the guitar back in the 1970's or so! The guitar has a few issues that make it more affordable. The main issue is that the neck pickup was routed, but has been filled and touched up. The tuners, bridge, tailpiece, pickguard, truss rod cover and pickups are all authentic old Gretsch parts but not original to the guitar. The finish is original with light marks here and there. There are several touchups as shown. They were fingernail polish-type touchups so probably easy to remove if so desired as the colors don't match very well. Looks like it has had a neck reset in the past. The guitar plays well with good action but could probably use a fret leveling if you plan on using the guitar extensively. The guitar comes with a newer hardshell case and some great color photos of the guitar back in the 70's or so. This provides a bit of a history of the changes which is kind of cool and rarely seen.
