1970 Gibson Super 400-CESN Natural!

On-Hold…Classic 1970 Gibson Super 400CESN. Desirable factory Natural Super 400 CES. The guitar has many 1969 specs so it was likely started in 1969 and stamped in 1970. Still has the older 1960's logo, orange label, no volute. This beautiful Gibson archtop is the CESN model which basically means it's a electric cutaway model in Natural finish. This guitar plays and sounds excellent. Nice and strong-sounding Patent Number sticker humbucker pickups.

The guitar is all original except for the ABR-1 bridge top, the nut (it previously had a slightly oversized nut). The pickguard is the original with the tortoise portion/bracket part replaced. The guitar is actually very clean overall with the exception of a few stray marks here and there. The lightest traces of finish checking. No cracks or repairs. There is a slight delamination around the rim on the bottom. The pickup covers have some gold finish tarnished.

The guitar overall is very presentable and is a good-playing example. It comes with the 70's Gibson hardshell case as shown. Great opportunity to get a very nice 50+year-old Gibson Super 400 CES in Natural.
