The top on this guitar is absolutely phenomenal, with a strong vintage-style flame that has character without looking overdone. It's one of those tops that simply looks right.\u003cspan class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchor\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis appears to have been some type of \u003cstrong\u003ecustom order or special run\u003c\/strong\u003e. It features nearly all of the desirable \u003cstrong\u003e1959 Reissue\u003c\/strong\u003e specifications, including a \u003cstrong\u003elong neck tenon\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eABR-1 bridge\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003e'57 Classic humbuckers\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eIced Tea Sunburst finish\u003c\/strong\u003e, and \u003cstrong\u003eamber bonnet knobs\u003c\/strong\u003e. At the same time, it has a few unique touches that set it apart from a standard R9, most notably the \u003cstrong\u003efactory Grover tuners\u003c\/strong\u003e and a finish that isn't quite as heavily ambered as most Historic reissues from this period. There are just a few light marks that keep it from being minty. On the back you'll find the slightest jean rivet marks, but they're extremely minor.
