This is a spectacular custom example with some of the finest appointments Collings has ever offered, combining exceptional tonewoods, traditional pre-war styling, and outstanding craftsmanship.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe D3H is already one of Collings’ most respected dreadnought models, but this particular guitar takes it to another level. The standout feature is the \u003cstrong\u003eBrazilian Rosewood back and sides\u003c\/strong\u003e, along with a matching \u003cstrong\u003eBrazilian Rosewood headplate\u003c\/strong\u003e. Combined with an \u003cstrong\u003eAdirondack Spruce top\u003c\/strong\u003e, this guitar delivers the power, clarity, and complexity that serious acoustic players search for.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe appointments are exceptional throughout, including \u003cstrong\u003eherringbone trim, grained ivoroid binding, ornate gold engraved Waverly tuners, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge with no markers\u003c\/strong\u003e for a clean, traditional look. The label is also \u003cstrong\u003ehand signed by Bill Collings himself\u003c\/strong\u003e, adding another special layer of collectibility.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis guitar was used by Zac Brown, and one unique feature is the \u003cstrong\u003eclear pickguard currently installed in place of the original tortoise guard\u003c\/strong\u003e. It has been played and enjoyed but remains a beautiful example. There are a few light pock marks on the top and some light fret wear, though there is still plenty of fret life remaining.
