1957 Gretsch 6187 Corvette in Lotus Ivory!
Very clean 1957 Gretsch 6187 in Lotus Ivory w/ Gray Metallic back/sides/neck. The model number of this guitar is a bit confusing as the model 6187 was also used for non-cutaway Corvettes, Clippers, and these. This one is a particularly great-playing example that is actually very clean too. The guitar has a few small marks here and there but again it's very nice especially considering it's well over 60 years old!
The frets have been recently dressed and it's very easy to play unlike many from this era. This guitar is 16-inch and is full size like the other great Gretsch models of the time. . It's very similar to a Streamliner with dot inlays. The guitar is fully working and sounds great! The guitar is all original except the 1960's Grover patent pending tuners and replaced jack (original included). The case is the original Lifton case.
