2006 Gibson Murphy Aged Les Paul TV Special!
Very rare. The last one to come up for sale was over 2 years ago! This is a 2006 Gibson Les Paul Special made in the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville. Aged by the man himself master expert Tom Murphy for Yamano Music in Japan. This guitar is 1 of only 25 and was from a special run of Les Paul Specials that were hand-aged by Tom Murphy. Contrary to the 1960 reissue naming, the neck is a huge full fat 59 neck profile from the era not the typical 60 slim taper neck. The guitar sounds huge too!
The guitar comes with the original case and all the case candy/tags as shown EXCEPT the COA. Unfortunately a previous owner misplaced the COA so it is not included. We have a pdf photo of it that we will send to the new owner. The guitar comes with all the specially stamped tags that only the Murphy aged examples received. Really a great example of a Les Paul Special!
