2000 Gibson '59 Les Paul Reissue!
ON-HOLD... This beauty is from a very collectible "good-wood" era. It is a nice and fairly clean 2000 Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1959 Les Paul with a cool very tight flame top with lots of movement that will not show up in photos. Hard to show in photos, but this one has an interesting 3-dimentionality going on! The guitar was well-cared for overall but is not mint. There is one scratch on the top of note, but otherwise there is general wear including light dings, scratches, and light buckle marks as shown (on our website). It's over 20 years old so not perfect, but very nice and presentable.
The guitar is all original except for the pickups which are Lollar Imperials. The guitar plays easy and sounds great! Known as the "Good-Wood Era" and this is a great example of why. These were produced in far less numbers than recent year models and are becoming sought after. The guitar comes with the original hardshell case and the case candy as shown. COA's were not normally issued in 2000 but this one has the hang tags.
