1919 Martin 00-28K Vintage Hawaiian Acoustic Guitar EXTREMELY RARE All Koa! Herringbone, ULTRA CLEAN!

Exceptional 1919 Martin 00-28K Hawaiian acoustic guitar, and without question one of the cleanest 100+ year old Martins you’re likely to ever see. This is an extremely rare all-koa model, with only approximately 41 examples produced between 1919 and 1933.

This guitar was built for Southern California Music Co., who offered these special-order koa Martins during this period. It remains in its original Hawaiian setup, and while it could be converted by a qualified luthier, we chose to leave it intact given how remarkably clean and historically important it is.

The guitar retains its original “dull” matte-style finish, with no cracks, no refinishing, and no funny business. Bracing is fan-braced, not X-braced, similar to what Martin used on early Ditson dreadnoughts, and part of what makes these early koa models so unique. Beautiful herringbone trim, stunning koa throughout, and just an incredible presentation overall.

100% original aside from the nut, which is included. A truly special pre-war Martin 00-28K, ultra clean, ultra rare, and a real piece of Martin history.
