1960 Gibson ES-125T in Sunburst Vintage Thinline Electric Guitar!

Here is a very nice 1960 Gibson ES-125T in classic Sunburst, a clean and honest example that’s getting harder to find in this kind of shape. A clean, great-playing ES-125T with the right specs — definitely nicer than most you’ll come across.

This guitar is rock solid and in very nice condition overall. It appears to be all original with the exception of one strip tuner and the knobs, which have been replaced. Importantly, there are no breaks, no refins, and no repairs anywhere — just a straight vintage Gibson.

The original finish looks great with only light scratches and small dings from normal use over the years. Nothing out of line at all, and it presents very well.

The Details

  • Condition: Very Good
  • Originality: Original except one tuner and knobs replaced
  • Finish: Original Sunburst with light wear and small dings
  • Notes: No breaks, repairs, or refins

Playability & Sound

This one plays easy and sounds excellent. Being a 1960, it features the wider nut width with a thinner neck profile, which is a really comfortable combination. The P-90 pickup sounds strong, delivering that warm, punchy vintage Gibson tone.
