Super clean early 1961 Fender Precision Bass in Sunburst. The bass is all-original and plays/sounds incredible. The bass has a beautiful 3-tone sunburst with almost no checking! The bass is in excellent condition. The front looks near mint with almost no wear. The back has some light wear and there is some finish reaction from a strap or curly cord in some spots. It's quite a nice piece. The original case is also very clean. The leather on the handle is rough, but is very nice otherwise.
The slab-board neck is very straight and true. Truss rod works well. The neck/body fit is pure Pre-CBS tight. Pickup is strong, pots work well, good original frets, and lightweight at 8.5 lbs. You would be hard-pressed to find a better example than this out there right now. Super clean, all-original, early 1961 Fender P-Bass w/ OHSC.
