1965 Martin PROTOTYPE D12-35 Brazilian Rosewood D-12-35 12-String Acoustic Guitarm!

Here is a pretty unique piece of Martin history. It's a Martin "X-12-35" from early 1965. The first prototype D-35 was stamped with an X and this is a 12-string prototype of the model also marked with the X. We assume this was also the first prototype of the 12-string D-35. It's a beautiful example and is playing extremely well as it had a pro neck reset recently. The guitar not only plays easily, it also sounds great! Nice full sound.

The guitar comes with the original hardshell case and even the case key. The guitar is very clean overall with only light signs of use over the 6 decades its been around. There are some light hairline cracks on the back of the body near the butt end. It's really nice overall and is ready to go into your collection or to be used right away!
