1966 Gibson B-25 N Natural Small Body Acoustic Guitar PROJECT w Original Chipboard Case!
Here is a 1966 Gibson B-25 in natural finish — a player/project-grade vintage Gibson with good potential for the right buyer. This one is currently playable, but it is not in ideal playing condition and will need work to bring it up to its full potential. It needs a neck reset, and the bridge has been replaced and sanded quite low, so it would ideally be replaced again. There are also a few cracks in the usual spots that should be addressed.
The guitar shows heavy finish checking, mostly on the back but present throughout. The tuners have been replaced, along with the truss rod cover. The finish is original.
Overall, this is a solid candidate for someone who can do the work themselves or is looking for a vintage Gibson project at a more accessible price point.
The Details
- Condition: Good / Player-Grade Project
- Originality: Modified (tuners, truss rod cover, bridge replaced)
- Finish: Original natural finish with heavy checking throughout
- Notes: Needs neck reset, bridge replacement recommended, cracks present
Playability & Sound
The guitar is currently fairly playable, but action and setup are not ideal due to the neck angle. With the proper work, this should be a very solid and great-sounding vintage Gibson.
