If you're looking for a collector-grade guitar, this is NOT the guitar for you. If you're looking for a Martin with Brazilian Rosewood and a great sound on a budget this is a great option. The good news is that the guitar plays well and sounds great and has some beautiful BRZ rosewood.
The bad news is that there are lots of major repairs. There is minimal evidence of neck repair or neck heel repair, but there is some dark shading there so it likely had some work on both areas. The guitar had some damage around the neck heel and has a new neck block with the original serial number in a different style. The top appears to be newer as the bracing does not look like factory work. All work is very nice professional work though. Bridge looks slightly oversized, newer tortoise pickguard.
The action is 6/64"---4/64". The nut width is 1.72".
It's not at all collector-worthy, but it's still a Brazilian Rosewood 1960's Martin D28 for less than the price of a new one.
