1968 Guild F-50 Natural Jumbo Flattop Jumbo Acoustic Guitar Figured Maple Vintage HOBOKEN MASTERPIECE!
Here is one of the better models that Guild ever made, a 1968 Guild F-50 in Blonde Natural from the fabled Hoboken, New Jersey factory.
This is a jumbo body acoustic with a slightly arched back, built with beautifully figured maple throughout and a spruce top. It’s a very fancy, high-end model, featuring mother of pearl and abalone inlays along with multi-ply binding everywhere, including the back and fingerboard. It also has an ebony fingerboard, rosewood bridge, and patent pending gold Grover tuners.
This one is in very good vintage condition. There is general wear throughout from normal use, including light dings, scratches, and finish checking, most notably on the back. Nothing out of line — just honest vintage character.
Tonally, this is a really impressive guitar. If you’ve ever been underwhelmed by some 1960s Gibson J-200 models (you are not alone), this is a great alternative. It has a very open, lively sound with a unique voice, and it’s a lot of fun to play.
It comes with a very nice newer hardshell case.

Playability & Sound
This one plays well and sounds amazing. It has a very open, resonant jumbo voice with excellent projection and clarity. A great alternative to some of the heavier-sounding jumbo acoustics — this one feels more alive and responsive.
