Here is a very cool 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Cherry Sunburst, a good-playing vintage example with all the right vibe.
This guitar is mostly original, with only a few changes: strap buttons, bridge, and the tuners appear to be slightly newer, though they are correct period-style Grovers. Importantly, no extra holes.
Condition is very good overall. There is a fair amount of wear on the back, but nothing out of line for a played ’70s Custom. The original frets are on the lower side but still playable. The electronics appear untouched, with original patent number sticker humbuckers and clean, undisturbed solder joints. Pots date to the 39th week of 1973, which lines up perfectly.
