1979 Gallagher Doc Watson Dreadnought Acoustic CLEAN, Needs Reset!
Here is a really great sounding 1979 Gallagher Doc Watson Signature, a USA-made early boutique acoustic with excellent tone and a lot of upside.
This one is super clean overall, especially for its age, with just a couple light dings and no cracks. It’s actually very close to mint cosmetically. That said, like many guitars approaching 50 years old, it does need some work.
Most notably, it needs a neck reset (even though it plays reasonably well as-is), and the bridge is just starting to lift slightly. Because of this, we are calling it a project, but it’s a very solid candidate.
