Here is a January 1981 Rickenbacker 4001 in Jetglo in the original hardshell case. The bass plays and sounds great. It’s currently strung with recent flat wounds and is really a nice player.
The bass is in very good condition overall. There are small scratches and light dings but nothing too bad. On the back there is a rectangular area that has faded. There was likely a set list paper there for years which left it faded. Also there is a small circular touch up spot in the same area.
The bass is all original and complete besides one missing knob sticker which is included. It’s a very example from the end of the original 4001 era. Comes with the original case, case keys, polish cloth, stereo cable and vintage Doctor Song strap. Great vintage Rickenbacker bass!
