1994 Gibson Master Model L-5 Wes Montgomery Sunburst!
Here's one of the best from the early Gibson Historic Custom Shop years! The guitar was tap-tuned by the Gibson master luthier Terry Ryan in mid-1994 but it didn't actually ship until August 1995. The guitar has so many extras that you'll only find on the early Gibson Custom Shop Historic Master Models like this. It comes with early-style Certificate of Authenticity, Brown faux-leather case with green interior, and leather Gibson Montana case cover.
This guitar plays and sounds great. It feels very lightweight and balanced. Very resonant instrument. It was a one-owner instrument and very well-cared for. The guitar has no discernible wear besides the common tarnishing of the gold hardware on the pickup, pickguard shrinkage from off-gassing, and some finish checking on the fret ends especially at the upper frets. The guitar comes with the original hardshell case, case cover, COA, inspection checklist, truss rod tool, polish cloth, case lock literature, and gold ABR-1 bridge as shown. Hard to find early Gibson L-5 Wes Montgomery's like this. Here's a great opportunity to get a good one!
