2006 Gibson USA Les Paul Standard Premium Plus in Red Flametop!
Here is a nice older 2006 Gibson Les Paul Standard with a beautiful transparent red flametop and all gold hardware. Black Cherry finish. Gibson never installed the pickguard on this one, allowing that exceptional maple top to remain completely unobstructed. It's a great-looking guitar with a classic Les Paul vibe.
Despite now being nearly 20 years old, this one is exceptionally clean. There are just a couple of light indentations on the back and a stray mark here and there, but overall we'd easily call it Excellent condition. It's obvious this guitar has been very well cared for over the years.
The neck has more of a comfortable '50s-style feel, measuring 0.85" at the 1st fret and 0.99" at the 12th fret, making it substantial without being oversized like some 50's feeling necks. It plays easily, sounds great, and has the rich sustain and punch you'd expect from a good Les Paul Standard.
A nice bonus is that it still includes the original Guitar Center hang tag from when it was purchased new back in 2006, along with the original Gibson hardshell case and the extras shown in the photos.
This is just a really clean, honest Les Paul Standard with a fantastic top that's getting harder to find in this kind of condition.
