2008 Martin Limited Edition 00 Stauffer 175th Anniversary Guitar | Engelmann Spruce Top Madagascar Rosewood Back/Sides w Coffin Case

2008 Martin 00 Stauffer 175th Limited Edition Engelmann Spruce Top Madagascar Rosewood Backsides with Coffin Case!

Here is a really cool and very limited Martin 00 Stauffer, produced for Martin's 175th Anniversary in 2008. Only 50 were made, and this is a particularly interesting model that pays tribute to Martin's earliest instruments from the 1830s and 1840s while offering modern playability and excellent sound.

This 12-fret 00 features solid Madagascar rosewood back and sides with an Engelmann spruce top, along with some exceptionally fancy appointments. The engraved Stauffer-style six-in-line tuners with coin-shaped buttons, black satin neck finish, pyramid bridge, and 175th Anniversary fingerboard banner give it a distinctive look that you don't see on many Martins.

The guitar is in Excellent condition, with just a few pick scratches on the top and a stray mark here and there. Overall, it's a beautiful collector-grade example.

It plays very well with low action and plenty of saddle remaining. The neck has a comfortable profile, measuring 0.83" at the first fret and 0.88" at the 9th fret, with a 1.76" nut width.

It comes complete with the original fitted wooden coffin-style hardshell case, as shown.
