Here is a stunning 2010 Gibson Custom Shop Slash “Appetite For Destruction” AFD VOS Les Paul Signature Model, and easily one of the most iconic and sought-after modern Slash signature Les Pauls Gibson has produced.

This is the celebrated recreation of Slash’s Kris Derrig-built Les Paul, capturing the look, feel, and spirit of the guitar heard on the original Appetite For Destruction recordings.

This example features a beautiful highly figured maple top in the classic Appetite/Butterscotch Burst finish, with a very dynamic grain pattern that shifts between flame and more complex figuring depending on the light. It has a very lively, three-dimensional appearance that gives it a strong vintage-inspired personality.

The finish retains its original VOS sheen, presenting exactly as intended from the Custom Shop — lightly dulled and broken-in without heavy relic work, maintaining that authentic, early Custom Shop aesthetic.

Condition is easily near mint, with only the faintest signs of careful handling and no notable wear to speak of. It presents extremely clean overall and has clearly been well preserved.

Playability is exceptional, with a very comfortable and substantial neck profile measuring approximately 0.91” at the 1st fret and 1.06” at the 12th fret, giving it that full, late-’50s inspired feel that these models are known for.

Tonally, this guitar delivers exactly what you would expect from a top-tier AFD reissue — rich sustain, strong midrange bite, and a very vocal, harmonically complex voice that responds beautifully to both clean and driven tones.

At just 8.5 lbs, this is also a nicely balanced and resonant example with excellent acoustic liveliness.

It comes complete with the original matching hardshell case, COA, and all original case candy and paperwork as shown.
