2011 McPherson MG-3.5 Guitar Redwood Top Flamed KOA Back and Sides Acoustic Guitar w LR baggs RTSII!
Here is a great McPherson MG-3.5, a beautifully built example from one of the most innovative modern acoustic makers.
This one features a standout set of tonewoods, including highly figured Hawaiian koa back and sides paired with a redwood top, giving it a warm, rich, and complex acoustic voice with excellent projection and clarity. The koa shows a beautiful natural depth, and the finish has begun to subtly sink into the grain and pores, giving it a nicely seasoned, well-played-in character.
This MG-3.5 plays exceptionally well with low, comfortable action, and it feels very responsive across the entire fingerboard. The neck has a measured depth of approximately 0.80” at the 1st fret, with a slight V profile that feels supportive without being bulky.
Tonally, it is a very strong performer both acoustically and plugged in, with the kind of balance and articulation McPherson is known for — clear highs, strong fundamental, and a controlled, even response across the register.
Build quality is extremely solid throughout, with a reputation for long-term stability and low maintenance compared to many other acoustic brands.
Hardware includes gold Schaller tuners made in Germany, contributing to precise tuning stability and smooth operation.
Condition is very good plus, with only a few minor marks on the top and little else to note. The frets remain in excellent shape with plenty of life remaining, showing minimal wear and ready for many more years of use.
It comes complete with the original hardshell case, case candy, and extra saddles as shown.
