2014 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul JOE BONAMASSA SKINNERBURST 59 R9 VOS Reissue!
Here is a killer top 2014 Gibson Custom Shop Joe Bonamassa 1959 Les Paul Skinner Burst VOS. What a great-looking guitar that truly has a vintage vibe to it. It's got all the mineral streaks, flecks, and strong flame you could ever want. The finish leans more toward a Green Lemon Burst, and it really captures the look of a genuine late-'50s Burst.
The dark rosewood fingerboard is especially striking—it's so dark it almost looks like ebony. This one also has a nice balanced feel at 9.0 lbs., and the neck is a great full '59 profile that fills the hand without being overly large.
Condition is Very Good Plus overall. There are a few light scratches here and there along with some minor marks on the back of the neck. You'll also notice some discoloration of the aniline red dye on the back of the neck and a little on the back of the body, likely from sweat reaction, which is very common on these finishes. The guitar appears to be 100% original. You'll also notice in our photos that the bottom strap button has been removed, but of course it is included—it was simply an oversight during photography.
This one comes complete with the original hardshell case, COA, and all the original paperwork as shown.
Perhaps the coolest part is that this guitar is Number 150 of 150—the last one produced in the run. Maybe they really did save the best for last.
