Return Policy:

48 hour inspection period, buyer pays shipping both ways and must be returned in the same condition as sent, no exceptions. 5% restocking fee to cover costs.

2013 Taylor Custom Shop Dreadnought BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD Owned by ZAC BROWN One-Off Model!

Here is a truly special Taylor Custom Shop dreadnought made specifically for Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band. At first glance, this guitar may appear to be a simple, understated Taylor dreadnought, but it is actually an exceptionally high-optioned custom instrument with some of the finest materials and appointments Taylor has to offer.

This is a featherweight Taylor Custom Shop build featuring Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, delivering the kind of depth, power, and complexity that serious acoustic players search for. The guitar features a satin finish, which allows the instrument to resonate freely, and the result is one of the most impressive sounding Taylors we have had the pleasure of playing.

The appointments are exceptional throughout, including a Brazilian Rosewood headplate and back of headstock, ebony fingerboard and bridge, grained ivoroid binding throughout, bone nut and saddle, and unique grained ivoroid fingerboard inlays and headplate ornamentation. The gold hardware is complemented by Gotoh 510 tuners, adding both elegance and excellent tuning stability.

This guitar is a perfect example of a custom build where the details are subtle but meaningful. It has a classic appearance while hiding some very special specifications underneath.

The condition is very good plus overall. There are some light indentation marks from strumming around the pickguard area and a few minor surface marks here and there, but nothing distracting. There are no cracks, no refinishing, and no structural issues. The neck is straight, the action is excellent, and there is plenty of saddle remaining.

Sonically, this guitar is outstanding. It has a huge, booming, lively voice with excellent projection and responsiveness. Despite its powerful tone, it remains extremely comfortable and easy to play thanks to its lightweight construction and excellent setup.

It comes complete with the original Taylor hardshell case, all paperwork, and a signed COA from Zac Brown and CME, the retailer that sold this guitar on Zac Brown’s behalf.

Playability & Sound

This is one of the most impressive sounding Taylors we have encountered. The Brazilian Rosewood provides incredible depth and richness, while the lightweight construction gives the guitar tremendous responsiveness and volume. It has the power expected from a great dreadnought but with the clarity and balance Taylor is known for.

The playability is excellent with low action, a straight neck, and a comfortable feel that makes this guitar equally enjoyable for rhythm playing, fingerstyle, or recording.
