2015 Gibson Memphis 1959 ES-345 Reissue Sunburst Long Guard 50s Neck RARE MODEL!
Here is a pretty rare 2015 Gibson Memphis Custom Shop 1959 ES-345 Reissue in classic Sunburst. This is one of the more desirable ES-345 reissues Gibson Memphis produced, featuring many of the vintage-correct appointments collectors and players are looking for, along with one very practical factory upgrade—a mono Varitone.
This one has all the right vintage vibes including the fat '50s neck profile, long pickguard, amber bonnet knobs, and a stop tailpiece. Best of all, it features the mono Varitone circuit, so you get all of the tonal options of the Varitone without having to deal with stereo cables or a complicated setup. Just plug into a standard guitar cable and play.
The guitar plays exceptionally well, sounds fantastic, and has the warm, woody tone that makes these Memphis-built ES models so highly regarded.
Condition is Very Good Plus overall. There is just the slightest fret wear that is hardly worth mentioning, along with a few light scratches on the back, some small finish checks around the binding nibs, and moderate pickguard wear from normal playing. There are no notable dings, and overall it's a very clean, well-cared-for guitar.
It appears to be 100% original with the exception of the amber bonnet knobs, which are actually more vintage-correct than the originals.
It comes complete with the original hardshell case, COA, and all the original case candy as shown.
