2017 Gibson Custom Shop SLASH FIREBIRD AGED Trans Black Flametop! 25 Made Total!
Here is a very rare Gibson Custom Shop Slash Firebird Aged in Transparent Black with a beautiful flame maple top. Only 25 of these guitars were produced, and they seldom come up for sale today. If you've been collecting Slash signature models, this is probably one that got away. Here's your chance to add one of the rarest modern Slash models to your collection.
The Transparent Black finish allows the flame maple to shine through beautifully, while the factory aging gives the guitar a broken-in vibe. Gibson Custom Shop really knocked it out of the park on this one. The relic work is tasteful, convincing, and gives the guitar the look and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument.
The guitar appears to be 100% original and is in Excellent condition. There are some light pick scratches, as shown in our photos, but that's to be expected. The aged pickguard finish on these is thin, so it doesn't take much playing to wear through it slightly. Other than that, it's a very clean example that has clearly been well cared for.
The neck has a nice chunky rounded profile, measuring 0.93" at the first fret and 1.04" at the 12th fret, giving it a substantial late-'50s feel. At just 7.8 lbs., it's lightweight, well-balanced, and exceptionally comfortable to play.
It comes complete with the original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, original paperwork, and even the original sales receipt from 2017 when it was purchased new.
