2018 Gibson '59 Reissue Murphy/Brazilian Les Paul!

Why am I doing this?!? I will regret this. A guitar I thought I would keep forever as it's truly the best of hundreds of reissue LP's that have come through KC Vintage! Truly has everything I (personally) could ever ask for in a Les Paul. Great top, great color, nearly black Brazilian board, lightweight, perfect neck, plays easy, and sounds truly incredible. These 2018's have been great, but this is a whole next level in my opinion. The top is extremely rare as it is a killer top, yet still has a vintage vibe. The finish is absolutely stunning on the guitar. Gibson finishes are usually great on these 59 Reissues, but this is a masterpiece done by none other than Tom Murphy. A beautiful guitar that plays and sounds as good as it looks (seriously). The guitar is minty (one ding on headstock corner), comes with original lacquered hardshell Lifton-style case, COA, paperwork etc..!

The Gibson Custom Shop Historic Series has been getting better and better each year, getting so close to the great examples of the late 50’s and early 60’s.Hide-glue construction, premium tone woods, the all-new 2018 Historic Collection has added more great features. New neck profiles (including an all-new ’59 profile scanned from an original vintage '59) to period correct fretwire and all new “Fade” finishes. Aniline-dyed 1-piece mahogany backs, historically-accurate deluxe Kluson tuners, and incredible maple tops that make each one unique. The Custom Buckers sound great as usual! The case is the lacquered Lifton-style that is more accurate than years past. Incredible guitar!
