Here is a really cool and innovative Mule Resophonic Custom Mavis model, a beautifully executed instrument that blends traditional resonator design with modern electric versatility.
This example has a strong rustic, aged aesthetic, featuring all-aged hardware, a mini-humbucker pickup, and a single-cone resonator design that gives it a very organic and responsive acoustic foundation. The overall vibe is intentionally worn-in and characterful, and it really suits the personality of this build.
The neck is fitted with a nicely streaked ebony fingerboard, paired with a tortoise-style pickguard, rounding out the vintage-inspired aesthetic. It’s a very cohesive design that feels both thoughtful and purpose-built.
Acoustically, this one is very lively and resonant, with strong projection and that classic resonator complexity. Plugged in, it really comes to life, with the mini-humbucker delivering a focused, articulate, and surprisingly dynamic amplified tone that retains all the instrument’s natural character.
Condition is excellent overall, with only a few light surface scratches consistent with gentle handling. It presents very clean and well cared for.
