2025 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul WILDWOOD Spec Kindred Burst 59 R9!

Here is a really beautiful 2025 Gibson Custom Shop Wildwood Spec 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue, finished in the classic Kindred Burst VOS. This is one of Wildwood's hand-selected examples, featuring an absolutely gorgeous handpicked figured maple top with outstanding flame and vintage character.

Wildwood has long been known for commissioning some of the finest Historic Les Pauls available, and this one showcases all of the details that have made their specifications so popular. The Kindred Burst finish has a rich, dark vintage appearance that perfectly complements the exceptional maple top, while the VOS treatment gives it an authentic broken-in look without heavy aging.

This guitar appears to have been virtually unplayed since new and remains 100% factory original. The only difference from a standard Wildwood-spec guitar is that the bridge pickup cover was professionally removed by Wildwood at the request of the original owner, so it remains exactly as it left Wildwood Guitars.

Built with a hand-selected maple top, solid non-weight-relieved mahogany body, mahogany neck, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard with hide glue fit, this guitar delivers everything you'd expect from a top-tier Historic Reissue. It also features the outstanding Wildwood Spec Custombucker pickups, CTS 500K audio taper pots, paper-in-oil capacitors, lightweight aluminum tailpiece, no-wire ABR-1 bridge, and vintage-style aged plastics.

The Authentic '59 Medium C neck feels fantastic, measuring approximately 0.89" at the 1st fret and 0.99" at the 12th fret, with a 1-11/16" nut width—a very comfortable late-'50s profile that will feel instantly familiar to Historic enthusiasts.

At 8.5 lbs, it has an excellent balance of comfort, sustain, and resonance. Acoustically, the guitar is lively and responsive, while plugged in it delivers the open, articulate PAF-style tone that has made the Wildwood Spec Custombuckers so highly regarded.

It comes complete with the original Brown/Pink Lifton Reissue hardshell case with Wildwood Spec badge, COA, all original paperwork, and even the original Wildwood sales receipt.
