Here is a very recent 2026 Collings 470 JL Julian Lage in the highly desirable and newly introduced Dakota Red finish.
This model continues to be one of the most impressive offerings in the Collings lineup, capturing everything that makes great vintage guitars special while delivering the consistency, reliability, and playability of a modern instrument. The inspiration is clear: think of the best qualities of a vintage Gretsch Duo Jet or Jet Firebird, distilled into a guitar that feels immediately familiar yet entirely its own.
This particular example checks all the right boxes. Not only does it feature the stunning new Dakota Red finish, but it also has the recently introduced fixed tailpiece and hand-poured tortoise pickguard, two upgrades that have become highly sought-after among Julian Lage enthusiasts.
