All guitars are packed with exceptional care. Let's face it, packages are going to get thrown around and if not properly packed, they will break. We have shipped thousands and thousands of guitars of all values and know the importance of a good job packing.

Insurance:

All packages are fully insured in transit.

Please allow 24 hours for your package to acclimate. Not doing so could result in finish cracks. This is especially important in the Winter months.

Return Policy:

48 hour inspection period, buyer pays shipping both ways and must be returned in the same condition as sent, no exceptions. 5% restocking fee to cover costs.

2026 Collings 470JL Julian LAGE Antiquated Black with Bigsby Ron Ellis Pickups!

Here is a great 2026 Collings 470 JL Julian Lage in Antiqued Black with a Bigsby tailpiece and Ron Ellis pickups. Being a vintage guitar shop, we really appreciate what Collings and Julian Lage have achieved with this model. It's a new guitar with a genuine vintage vibe, but with the playability and consistency you'd hope for from Collings.

The guitar sounds exceptional and plays easily, unlike some of the older Gretsch Duo Jets we see come through the shop. It's a really nice combination of vintage-inspired looks and modern playability.

This example is minty, with just a few swirl marks and light pick scratches. Overall, it's very presentable and looks almost new.

The neck has a comfortable feel, measuring 0.85" at the first fret and 1.00" at the 12th fret, with a nut width just over 1-11/16".

At just 6.6 lbs., it's also a very comfortable guitar to play. It comes complete with the original hardshell case and paperwork, as shown.

This is an exceptional-playing and great-sounding Collings. The neck feels comfortable, and the guitar plays easily across the fingerboard. The Ron Ellis pickups sound excellent, complementing the vintage-inspired character of the 470 JL.
