Here is a really nice late-’90s USA Peavey EVH Wolfgang Standard in Transparent Red, one of the standout signature models from the original Eddie Van Halen / Peavey era.
This one features a really nice flame maple top along with a beautifully figured birdseye maple neck, giving it the classic high-end Wolfgang look. It’s equipped with the Peavey-branded Floyd Rose tremolo along with the EVH D-Tuna system, making it an especially fun and functional setup for Van Halen-style playing.
Additional quality features include the Schaller-made tuners from Germany, further showing the level of hardware Peavey was using on these USA-built models.
For Eddie Van Halen fans, these guitars remain one of the best values in USA-made signature instruments — excellent quality, great specs, and very versatile performance guitars overall.
Condition is excellent, with very little wear to note. The only real cosmetic items are a bit of light tarnishing on the jack plate and a couple of minor scuffs, but overall it presents extremely well.
It comes with a nice non-original case.
At 7.7 lbs, it’s lightweight, comfortable, and very balanced.
